Dustin spotted something that at first we thought were mushrooms. Then we looked closer and it was a patch of something weird looking. I'm not sure if you would classify it as a flower but it was albino. They picked a few and they smelled sweet. After awhile they turned black and Kyle decided to dissect it.

Lela - I don't know if you found this out alredy, but that is called "indian pipe" and the reason it is white is b/c it has no chlorophyll. Pretty neat huh? I learned about it on my daily walk with a large group that I walk with on Heritage Trails.
