Dirt Bike Riding with the Hundley Boys!!!

A few months ago my boss and his wife went to China to adopt their little girl. She will be a year in September and she is an absolute doll. They have three sons and asked me if I would stay with them and housesit while they were gone. Not only would I be staying with their sons but their two nephews who were visiting from California also.

I was responsible for 5 young men of the ages, 13, 14, 15, 16, & 17. What was I getting into? I thought I would go insane but they were actually great and I enjoyed staying with them. We played games, had pizza, jumped on the trampoline and rode dirt bikes of course... It was around the 4th of July and they went a little crazy with the bottle rockets but nothing burnt down.

I enjoyed my stay with them and was tired out but would do it again. They were a little hard to motivate when it came to cleaning the house before their parents came home but it wasn't too bad. I actually experimented in the kitchen and made them a meal and was very proud of myself. I felt like a mom. Well, I decided to post some pictures of my stay with them. I can't wait to go out and ride the bikes again. Dr. Hundley said I am welcome at their home anytime!!!

Dirt bikes are so much fun. I'm ready for a ride. I spent the day watching and riding the dirt bikes with the Hundley boys and had a blast. Posted by Picasa

Daniel taking me for a ride to get me ready to ride on my own. He has no fear and I had to yell at him to slow down. He wanted to take me out in the big bumpy field and I said no way. It brought back a few memories of when we went on a dirt bike ride in the Philippines. It was great. Posted by Picasa

There's a nice big field to ride around in and hopefully you won't run into any poison oak. Posted by Picasa

How much air can we get on this bike? The boys were building a jump to help them out. Posted by Picasa

I think I'm ready to go for a ride by myself. I'm a little nervous but I can do it!  Posted by Picasa

I think I figured it out. Yeah! Watch out cause here I come. Posted by Picasa

I'm just a beginner and trying to figure out how the clutch works. I think I can do this. Posted by Picasa

Time to say goodbye to the Acura. She was a good car and I will miss her. I was a freshman in highschool when my mom bought this car. We had lots of fun in it. Many memories but time to move on to bigger and better things! Posted by Picasa

This is my new car (used but new to me). I absolutely love it. It is a 2001 Hyundai Elantra. I have had it for about three weeks now.  Posted by Picasa

Rachel and I were so excited to watch a baseball game. It was beautiful weather and we couldn't pass up free tickets. We had great seats in the shade and had a blast. Posted by Picasa

Rache and I bought ourselves a t-shirt and took little walk around the Safeco Field. It is huge. I made sure to get a picture of the Space Needle behind us. Posted by Picasa

GO MARINER'S!!! Posted by Picasa

My 2nd Mariner's Game. We had a hoot. The Mariner's won! Rachel & I were given free tickets to the game by the family we stayed with. Douglas was sooo sweet and gave us each $20 to buy a t-shirt. Thanks Douglas & Sally. Posted by Picasa

I love baseball. It's a game I understand (which is rare)!!! Posted by Picasa

A little team pow wow. Posted by Picasa

Do they call this a tight end? Oh wait, is that football? Posted by Picasa

Swing batter batter swing. Hit a home run. Go Mariners. Posted by Picasa

Ummm, yum. Who's hungry for seafood? Posted by Picasa

These guys are so fun to sit and watch. I couldn't capture them throwing the fish. They are too quick. Posted by Picasa

Pike Street Market. I couldn't believe how many flowers they sale. They smelt so good compared to the smelly fish and seafood. Posted by Picasa

I love our American Flag. Posted by Picasa

Now you know why guys like to be male cheerleaders. Bring it on. Posted by Picasa

They had every kind of marching band and dance team you could imagine. These girls can shake it. This guy with the whistle was so funny to watch. He was very intense. Posted by Picasa

The seafair pirates were so "loud". They would let off a huge bomb every 15 seconds and scare the crap out of us. We had this pirate walk up to us and he was smiling. I said to him that he looked to nice to be a pirate and he then growled out me. It was hilarious. Posted by Picasa

Korean dancing. This guy on the left was twirling this streamer with his head. It was amazing. Posted by Picasa
