Before & After Photos of Me Casa

Labor Day weekend I finally painted my house with the help of my friend Aaron, dad, and Midge. I am so happy to have it finished. I have lived here for two years with a god aweful color that I referred to as "smurf blue" to people who were trying to find my house. I have to say it looked like a dump.

I knew it would be a big job but it had to be done. I was embarrassed by the color and condition. I love my home and wanted to make it look clean and new. Thanks to the help of my family and Robert the inside of my house is cute as a button but from the outside you would never know. You would think it was a crack house or something.

Anyways, it only took a few days and it was well worth it. I am proud to be a home owner and feel I am working towards my goals of making it look brand new. You wouldn't believe the before and after pictures of the inside. It was trashed.

Thanks dad, Aaron and Midge for all your help. I really appreciate it! Now I just have to get started on my yard! That can wait for the rain to come. Sometime I'll post a few before and after pictures of the inside. You would be amazed. It once was nasty but now is lovely and mine!!!

My not so cute home on the outside. The inside is adorable. After two years I finally decided to paint. Posted by Picasa

My back porch. Great for BBQ's if I had a barbequer. Some day! Posted by Picasa

Isn't my papa cute? He power washed my whole house. It was filthy. Just giving it a good power wash made it look brand new. Posted by Picasa

This airless paint sprayer is amazing. Thanks to someone from church we were able to use it and I didn't have to rent one. This thing rocks. It took a little over two hours to spray my whole house. Imagine how long it would have taken to do it by hand? I highly recommend using a sprayer.  Posted by Picasa

At first I wasn't sure what I wanted to do about the brick and wanted to keep it but we decided to paint over it. It looks so much better and clean. Posted by Picasa

Gotta get up high. Be careful on that roof. Posted by Picasa

Last part of the house. We're almost finished with the body. Yeah!!! Posted by Picasa

I love you Midge. Thanks for all your help!!! Posted by Picasa

Long day of painting. I did all the trim, shutters, and windows by hand (with help from Midge). Posted by Picasa

I love my new home!!! Now I just have to work on the lawn. No biggie. Posted by Picasa
